The big day was perfect, till Virginia newlyweds discovered that many of their marriage gifts were robbed from their marriage reception location last month. The bride, Erin Zerbe, recounted that she and her partner returned to the Old Cavalier Hotel to pick up their marriage gifts the morning after their marriage, and this is when the newlyweds discovered plenty of their gifts and cards that guests left for them were gone. "What was supposed to be a beautiful day ended up being tragic and quite sad," claimed Erin Zerbe. She claimed the hotel told her the gifts would be locked in a room for safety till the couple could pick them up. "The money is a problem but it is not about the cash.
It actually is about that the proven fact that someone stole us," asserted Erin Zerbe. Aid CEO of the Old Cavalier Hotel, Martino DeStefano, announced that members of staff from the marriage reception locale helped the couple load some of their gifts the morning after the marriage on Nov 19th, but he didn't know what has happened to the cards or if anything was even missing. Martino DeStefano claimed the hotel is cooperating with investigators and has told its insurer about the claim. Even though it appears the management at the Old Cavalier Hotel is helping any way possible the bride, Erin Zerbe, related the hotel hasn't been beneficial in this process in any way.
